Scholarships and Financial Assistance

 

Merit scholarships are awarded to the position holders in Board Examinations and distinction holder in sports and other co-curricular activities. There is a scheme to grant tuition fee concessions on complementary grounds to certain categories and generous Financial Assistance is also available on Need-cum-Merit basis

Academic Scholarships

Merit scholarships are automatically awarded on first come basis, according to the following criteria

Need-based Financial Assistance

Students desirous to avail need-based financial assistance, shall apply on the prescribed Financial Assistance Form to the Office of Admission along with the following documents:

– Evidence of father's/ guardian's income, i.e. salary/pension slip or certificate
– Evidence of property, if any, owned by father/ guardian
– Evidence of agriculture property and income arising thereof
– Copies of Utility bills for the last six (6) months
– Copy of rent agreement, if it is a rented house or income from house rent
– Copies of fee slips of brothers and sisters
– Any other document which the financial assistance committee consider necessary

 

Continuity of Fee Concession

Fee concession is initially granted for the 1st quarter of the academic session. Its continuation, thereafter, depends upon good academic performance regular attendance and good conduct. This facility may be withdrawn in case of :

-Unsatisfactory academic performance in the house tests
-Unauthorized absences exceeding the limit
-Indiscipline resulting in disciplinary action
-Non Payment of fees after the extended date

 

Eligibility Criteria

Intermediate Classes
– Secondary School Examination certificate with 45% percent marks.
–O-level passing students can also apply after obtaining the equivalent Certificate from Board.
Bachelor Classes
-Intermediate passing Certificate with 45% marks.
–A-level passing students can also apply after obtaining the equivalent Certificate from the Board.

Provisional Admission
Result awaiting candidates may also apply. Their admission will be confirmed after the final results are received
