I congratulate you for showing enthusiasm to join ILM College Gujranwala and become an Almaee which is indeed a matter of great distinction and honor. ILM colleges are a chain of high ranking institution which are striving for developing leadership qualities and imparting management skills by empowering the youth with high standard of education and inculcating scientific aptitude.
The major objectives with which ILM College Gujranwala has been incepted are that our you should

1. 1. Become a leading scholarship fully conversant with the eternal truth which is a source of our ethics and culture.
2. 2. Purify the body and soul and develop Islamic approach to the problems
3. 3. To gain competence for leading the nation at par to the modern scientific knowledge and technology.

As the matter of face there is a desperate need of moral educational development and to build up integrity at par to present day requirements already riddled with injustice and corruption.
I take this occasion as an opportunity to advice the student to create in themselves the qualities of courage, truthfulness, trustworthiness, a sense of honour, Public spirit and role of leadership. So that true Islamic concept could be provided to the nation.
I hop Insha’Allah under the skillful and able guidance of one devoted teachers and taught, the institution will attain unmatched heights and glory.
I would like to remind the students of the advice of Quai-e-Azam which he gave to students of Patna College on 3 January, 1945:

“This is the proper time of you life to equip yourself from future, to prepare yourselves for struggle of life that is awaiting for all. Studies therefore should come first and everything else afterwards. So train yourselves discipline yourselves and equip yourselves enough to shoulder the responsibilities that will fall on you.”
